Health Care
From hospitals and nursing homes to emergency clinics and family doctors, the health care sector in the Belleville and surrounding area provides forward-looking, first-rate health care for those who live and
work in the region.
The 1,600 staff and 280 medical staff members at Quinte Health Care (QHC) provide a wide range of high-quality health care services through four hospital sites: QHC Belleville General, QHC North Hastings, QHC Prince Edward County Memorial and QHC Trenton Memorial. QHC has 255 inpatient beds, four emergency departments, operating rooms at three sites, a rehabilitation day hospital, children's treatment centre, ambulatory care clinics, community mental health programs and a range of diagnostic services.

Regional Health Care
Provided through the Hastings & Prince Edward Counties Health Unit serving the County of Prince Edward, Hastings County, Quinte West, and Belleville, Ontario from offices in Trenton, Picton, Madoc, Bancroft and Belleville. The Hastings & Prince Edward County Health Unit provides information and updates on all current Health Alerts in the area.
Health Care Connect helps Ontarians who are without a family health care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) to find one. People without a family health care provider are referred to a family doctor or a nurse practitioner who is accepting new patients in their community.
